Desert Metal Works is a proud and active member of the great community of Tucson, Arizona. We work to be good and be green and to contribute to our hometown and the world.

Our Employees
Our most important community is our employees and their families. Our talented, dedicated and long-serving employees are what makes Desert Metal Works the great service-driven company that we are. The skills and pride of our employees are demonstrated on our shipping dock with high quality products each and every day.  We are proud to make an effort to provide generous wages, bonuses, health insurance and a 401K retirement plan to our team. They have weathered some challenges over our many years and we stuck together to grow and succeed. We are happy to support teams, charities and favorite projects of our employees. We share lunches and Christmas parties and other events to support our employee community. We also remember those employees that have retired or passed away that all played big parts in Desert Metal Works’ success.

We are blessed with customers that come back to us month after month and year after year. We have customers that recommend us to their friends. We have customers that express that their success would not be possible without us. Desert Metal Works truly appreciates its customers.

Our History
Desert Metal Works has had over 5,000 customers during our over thirty year history. We have sold over $100,000,000.00 in products and we have completed over 80,000 work orders during that time. On a few occasions, we failed to do something correctly or on time. Solving those issues quickly and professionally is part of what we do.

 Our Vendors
We have great vendors that support us. We could not support our customers without the help of our vendors. We attempt to partner with our important vendors and learn what they want from a good customer and then follow their expectations when possible.

Our Community
 Desert Metal Works has had the advice and assistance of great professionals and great friends. Their advice and counsel and loans have helped us weather hard times and grow in good times. We would not still be in business without their help.

 Desert Metal Works has had a lot of favorite causes and organizations over the years. Our donated metal projects dot the city of Tucson and have spread around the country. It has been a privilege to assist in these projects.

 Desert Metal Works attempts to be good to the environment and to be green. We do rainwater retention for our evaporative coolers. We have done energy-efficient lighting. We recycle our metal and other products.

 Desert Metal Works is installing a rooftop solar panel project. We will be producing about twenty five percent more electrical energy that we get from the grid. This will be a huge step towards our corporation’s goal to be green.
